This album feels like Drake forcing himself to be fun, but most of the songs just sound lazy and awkward. Outside a few decent moments, it’s messy, unserious, and one of his weakest projects.
Drake’s ICEMAN feels lazy, repetitive, and completely uninspired. Most of the songs sound the same, with boring flows and lyrics that feel copied from every Drake album over the last few years.
This album is one of Tyler’s most impressive projects and gets better with every listen. The production is incredible, the themes are personal, and tracks like “Hey Jane,” “Judge Judy,” and “Take Your Mask Off” show just how versatile he is as an artist. It also has a lot of underrated songs that don’t get nearly enough love. Looking back, this album definitely should of won a Grammy
This is a near-perfect album and one of J. Cole’s best projects to date. The storytelling, production, and lyricism are consistently excellent, and there’s almost no wasted space on the tracklist. With multiple standout songs and very few weak moments, it feels like the kind of album that reminds people why Cole is one of the best rappers of his generation.
This song is a top 5 song of all time without question
